Pop Punk’s Newest Ally

Ally Nicholas is a true gem. I came across her song “Feels Like Dying” on Soundcloud a year ago, and at first listen I knew there was something special there. After an 8 month hiatus from releasing music, Ally just dropped “Bullets” on 10/5/21, along with a video shot and edited by Jack Rottier.

“Bullets” is nothing like any of Ally’s other music, this record contains real alternative and pop punk sensibilities. She’s developed tremendously from previous releases such as “reasons” and “calm&collected” which are more in the lane of alt pop. This change of pace and new sound is where a lot of artists are currently migrating to. Pop punk is coming back with a vengeance and Ally Nicholas has the chance to be on the forefront for female musicians in the scene.
